Yes I would be open to you investigating futher from the site/server itself. My web building knowledge is basic, and i'm a bit lost now. Jjust want my galleries up. :)

First, i'm having trouble locating any of those things withing my server (trying to do so through GoDaddy - yes? or should i do this in Fetch? not my area of expertise for sure.)
Then, the new version of showkase was working fine, then it stopped... so would that still mean there are suddenly corrupted or missing files?
Also, I really don't want to upload any of the old pages, because i completely redesigned the site from what it was before so the pages would have to be redone and published anyway, and it's not publishing any of the changes, although a new page i created yesterday is showing up. so I'm generally confused/frustrated.

Okay, came home, ran the sk test and everything tests fine. tried again to publish, no luck. just get a blank page.. and sometimes eventually an error message that it timed out. And I checked version too, running 1.3.6. still nothing. I've tried to publish via safari (which i normally use), Firefox and Chrome. Nada. when i click on pages individually from my admin they work fine (though some are still missing those last two tabs which i imagine is linked to the publishing issue.) Any help?

I literally *JUST installed the pro version of showkase and into my server, I took down my entire site and started from scratch. it was publishing fine for a while there, but, still now... it just won't. I'll run a server test when i get home. But, unless go daddy changed something during the afternoon yesterday, there's no reason it shouldn't be working. Really need this site running properly asap though.

i think i fixed that last issue you said you can't see.
now my new problem... for the past 24 hours or so, the site WILL NOT publish. it opens a new window and never publishes. I have two galleries that aren't showing up, and two links that aren't showing up on most of the pages (but, they should be, they're built just as they were on my previous site through showkase before i upgraded.) help?

Anyone else having an issue with publishing? Just upgraded to pro, the publish was working fine, then now it opens a new window like it's going to publish but never does, and I've got two nav buttons I made that aren't showing up on most of the pages which is a problem. I assume that's because it's not actually publishing but it could be a separate issue. I had a full site built and working with the free version and didn't ever have this issue but started over completely and now my contact page isnt working from the home page. It's a problem. Help ?

I just upgraded to pro so i could have sharing and autoplay enabled and now the galleries show up in such a way that they're off my screen in my browser. I want them to be a uniform size like the 'acqua photo' demo you have on your site. i have experimented with as many settings as i can figure out and it's just not working. The main page, I want the pics to fill the browser screen but adjust so people don't have to scroll up and down. then on the gallery pages, there's a ton of space below the line under the header and i can't find a way to get rid of it. i want all the pics to be directly under the header. Thanks in advance for your help! i'm sure it's something stupidly simple, I just can't find it.

Nevermind. The files were just too big. Seems like it should give you a warning about that. But, I resized 'em and they showed up. Thanks for reading. :)

Got it all squared away, however, new problem. there are some photos that I upload and they will not show up. ever. I've uploaded them several times and they never show up, and it's just certain pictures. Ideas?

Ok... so I was able to rename it and get to the pop up that allows me to change permissions, but, it tells me "command not understood" in fetch. I'm getting a little closer each time.. sigh.

Well I thought i replied to this a long time ago.. but, apparently it didn't post. I contacted the hosting and got the PHP going (it wasn't there) which got me to the page I need to be on, but, now I click setup and it tells me to change the permissions, which I'd love to do, but, it doesn't give me that options when I look at it in the FTP folder. I looked it up in Fetch and it says that option should be there. What am I doing wrong?

Hi there, just got my showkase today. Uploaded it to my server and all i get when i run the compatibility test or try to open the admin just says "the system cannot find the path specified."
I've tried in safari and firefox. Don't know how to check the settings of my server in order to figure out if I have everything i need. I built my previous website, but, it's very simple and i'm by no means a programmer.
help!
