Topic: Image Width at Basic Page (not Gallery) [SOLVED]

Hi,

I want to place an image in a basic-page (no Gallery) between text.
In the image properties window I choose width = 1000px and heigh = 680px.
But the image appears not in this width/heigh. The max width is about 550 px...
If I choose width = 400px, the image appears in 400px for example.
The image is 2388 x 1625px, uploaded in library.
In customize theme options, max site width is set to 1500px.

Can you help me?

Best wishes from Germany

Fred

Re: Image Width at Basic Page (not Gallery) [SOLVED]

The maximum width of the image may be limited by the page's layout.

If you currently use a '1-column-narrow' layout, please try the following:
(1) Go to 'Site -> Customize Theme'.
(2) Scroll down to 'All Pages'.
(3) In the 'Body text layout', select '1-column wide'.

Hopefully this will help.
