Topic: Bug with Showkase 1.4 on Android phones

I just discovered a very unpleasant bug that occurs on android phones.  Note that this was NOT a problem with Showkase 1.3.6

Hence, the issue arose either with the September 2015 update to Showkase or it might have been introduced with the June update to Juicebox.

The problem occurs when a visitor is happily scrolling thru a Juicebox gallery on her android phone.  Suppose the visitor is viewing image #36 in a gallery containing 50 images.  And she decides, "Hey! I'm gonna save image #36 to my phone."  Of course, Juicebox has the beautiful feature to "click" the "open image" in NEW TAB button, and then the visitor can save the image (via the new tab).

Now, AFTER doing that, the visitor either CLOSES the new tab, or hits the Back key on her phone.  In either case, she is then brought BACK TO the gallery page that she was browsing AND she is specifically brought back to the CURRENT image that she was viewing (namely, image #36).  Hence, she can "CONTINUE" scrolling thru the photo gallery where she left off.

Now THAT was the way it worked in Showkase 1.3.6, but NOW, in ver. 1.4, when the visitor hits the BACK key -or- closes that new TAB, she is NOT taken back to her prior viewing "spot" in the gallery.  INSTEAD, she is taken back to the COVER PAGE of the gallery.  YIKES!!!!   This means that she has to START ALL OVER, starting with image #1 and scroll, scroll, scroll, until she finally gets back to image #37 to "resume" her browsing experience.

This is a really unpleasant experience for someone on an android phone.  Please address this issue soon.  Thanks for an otherwise really great product.  I do really love Showkase/Juicebox.

It's hard to tell whether this problem is directly related to Juicebox or to Showkase (or to neither).

Please let me know what Android device you use and what browsers (and version numbers) you see the problem in.

It might also help to see your own gallery which exhibits this problem so please post the URL to your gallery's web page.
This would allow me to check the exact version numbers of Juicebox and Showkase being used and to inspect the Juicebox configuration options being set in the gallery (such as what screen mode is being used, whether or not the Splash Page is displayed and if the gallery is in normal or expanded mode when the 'Open Image' button is clicked).

With a little more information, I should be able to investigate further.
