Topic: Trend Micro wont allow me to see site contains malicious software

Got this warning from TrendMicro "The latest tests indicate that this URL contains malicious software or phishing"
Wont allow me to view my site on our laptop. I put in an appeal and I am sure that will probably clear things up with them, anything I can do to make sure I am not getting blocked by anyone else? Here is a screen shot of my site (site not finished, still building away, love Showkase!) *edit wont allow me to post link of screen shot

Thought you might like the heads up in case this is happening to others

First of all, please let me reassure you (and other readers) that Showkase does not contain any malicious code so the warning from Trend Micro is almost certainly a false positive report unless you have actually have content on your web site (other than Showkase) which might be triggering the warning or your web hosting account has been hacked.
It would certainly be interesting to know exactly what is causing the problem so, if possible, please upload a screenshot somewhere (perhaps an image hosting site of file sharing site such as Dropbox or Google Drive) or describe the warning message in more detail.
Please also let us know how you get on with Trend Micro when they reply to your appeal.

Spoke to my friend who works at symantec last night, he said it has nothing to do with Showkase. My server is a rented co-lo (set up by another buddy who also works in internet security who just upgraded the hardware), he says TrendMicro will put up to 200 servers on the malicious dangerous list if anyone with a similar IP is naughty (paraphrasing as I am a photographer where a lot of my friends are computer nerds)

After submitting my report TrendMicro has now taken me off the dangerous list and I am good to go, sorry for the panic! My web site has only showkase site and a virtual tour on it at the moment and assumed that caused my site from being displayed.

Let me know when you have seen this and I will delete the whole thread, or feel free to do it yourself as I would not like people to think your awesome product would cause any harm. Keep up the great work!

You certainly have the right to delete the thread if you wish but please feel free to leave it in place.
Strange problems often occur and it might actually help to reassure any other users who experience a similar issue.
