Thanks for your info. I have now removed that second favicon inside the Admin/... folder and then refreshed for all time all browsing data, and the favicons are now gone. Both in Chrome and Firefox, after clearing history in both. Still present for the moment in Safari however.

I think I have found the solution, but just maybe:

I found a Showkase folder in the lesmith.com directory on the host, and within it was the favicon.ico file. I changed its name but left it there. Subsequently, the Chrome browser no longer seems to have the favicon showing.

On the other hand, it still shows on a Firefox browser.

The website is lesmithart.com

I previously had implemented this website using Showkase, but since have built it from scratch using HTML and CSS. I believe all of the old files for the site have been removed.

However, on all of the pages of this site, the Showkase favicon shows up and that does not seem to be a great idea. I have tried to remove it using all of the techniques I could glean from searches on the web, but it still persists. It also shows up on other computers unassociated with me, so it is not my computer, probably not the browser, but how to get rid of it?

This site does have some pages using image galleries produced using  Juicebox builder pro. And on another site, I have used Showkase so the folder is in the file system in the host at cabrackett.com.

Your thoughts please.
Thanks

Steven @ Showkase wrote:

I notice that you are using a custom.css file (_themes/kosel/css/custom.css) which sets background-color: #E9E3D3; for #wrapper.
This will override the color set in the Showkase admin so you might need to remove this custom CSS for admin-set colors to work.

It is complicated. The site is structured to have a monitor-wide background color, currently set to #A39E90 in the Kosel custom palette. That site is set to 1920px W x 1080px H. But then, there is the Main content section that contains the header, some other info, and a Juicebox gallery set. The background for the Juicebox gallery is set also to the #E9E3D3 in the Customize Viewer options.

And finally, somewherre in ancient history, I set the background for the Basic Page in the custom.css file that you mention. If that is where I need to set it, so be it. I was hoping there would be (I think there should be) a place to set that background color separately from the overall background color that is set by the theme.

I am fine tuning an older Showkase/Juicebox Pro website: lesmithart.com, by changing the color schemes, especially the background colors.
The overall background color is easily changed in the Cutomize Theme (Kosel, by the way), but the basic page background does not change. How do I change the background color of the Basic Page? Does this require a custom style sheet or css?

I have sent you an email with the login info you requested. Let me know if it works.

Thanks for the detailed instructions, however, I do not think they are working.
I have deleted the formerly installed jbcore from the showkase and re-installed the jbcore from the JuiceBox-Pro downloaded folder.
Result: I published some empty pages and found the Juicebox logo in the lower right corner, and the JuiceBox-lite viewer in the Customize Viewer panel.

The Juicebox-lite version is 1.5.1
The Juicebox-Pro version is 1.5.1
The Showkase version is 1.7.4

Publishing made no change to the Custom Viewer page, nor to the appearance of the logo on the published pages.

What is next?

I have installed my jbcore folder from Juicebox-Pro into the appropriate folder ShowKase according to instructions. And, upon inspection, it is there. But, the Pro options do not work and the logo is still there.
